Frequently asked questions

Getting started: common questions

Sign-up, onboarding, access for your team and what happens in your first support chat.

What do I need to sign up?

A work email address and a couple of minutes. You create the account, verify your email address, optionally enable multi-factor authentication, and you can start a support conversation immediately. There is no sales call, no discovery workshop, no contract to negotiate and no onboarding project. Adding colleagues is done from the company admin screen by entering their work email addresses; they receive an invitation and verify their own account. Billing is set up at the same time using a card or PayPal, and adjusts pro-rata as seats are added or removed. Most companies are raising their first real ticket within ten minutes of starting.

Can I try AI support before paying?

Access to the AI support agent requires an active subscription, because there is no separate free tier to maintain. What removes the risk instead is the commercial model: there is no contract, no minimum term and no setup fee, so the smallest possible commitment is £12 for one month, which you can cancel immediately afterwards from the company admin screen. Before you spend anything, our published scope pages set out precisely what is and is not supported, and the FAQ covers the questions most people ask before signing up. That is deliberately more information than most IT providers give you before a contract.

How do I add my whole team?

A company admin invites users by email address from the admin screen, and each person verifies their own account before gaining access. Billing updates automatically as seats are added, charged pro-rata for the remainder of the current billing period, so you are never billed a full month for a user added on the twenty-eighth. Removing a leaver is equally quick and future billing adjusts down accordingly. Only company admins receive invoices and receipts; standard users do not see billing correspondence. There is no per-seat setup fee and no minimum team size beyond the £12 monthly company minimum.

Is my company too small for this?

Almost certainly not. The £12 monthly company minimum exists precisely so that one-, two- and three-person businesses can use the service — at that size you are paying less per month than a single hour of a typical IT contractor's time, for round-the-clock cover. Very small businesses often benefit most, because they rarely have anyone in-house to ask and a locked-out Microsoft 365 account can stop work entirely. The service is designed for companies of roughly five to fifty staff, but nothing about it breaks below that range. Above fifty staff it still works; you may simply want on-site cover alongside it.

What happens if I want to cancel?

You cancel from the company admin screen and billing stops at the end of the current monthly period. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee, no exit interview and no minimum term to serve out, because there is no contract in the first place. Charges already incurred for the current period are not refunded, which is the only meaningful condition. If you return later, you simply sign up again. We would rather earn the renewal each month than lock you into twelve, and being straightforward about the exit is part of that.
